Nice image but what do you plan to do with it?If you plan to make any personal gain from it, this might be a good one for a discussion on copyright law.
Works of art are covered by copyrights, just like your photos.
Let's see where this takes us.
Have fun and keep shooting.

Bob,Thanks,
I am aware of the copyright laws and I would not attempt to sell the image unless I had a signed release. This is just a hobby for me and I am not a pro although I have sold a few images on istock. #963059

Good point Bob.As David said, many hobbyists like us capture images just because we like them. But copyright laws are something we need to have in mind when we do that kind of photography.
On the other hand, I don’t feel a satisfaction in getting a picture from someone else’s art unless I give a different perspective from what the author wanted to express in the first place. If my personal view is not involved in that new perspective, then the merits comes down to a well exposed, perfectly focused image…nothing else.

Protacio,I actually called the contact for Dale Chihuly to confirm their policy. He said as long as I use the photos for my own personal use it was fine. I even emailed them a link to my pbase gallery and he really liked some of the images. #964933
