Baby little owls

Uploaded: June 19, 2008

At last I found a spot where I could quietly take a look at these baby owls without disturbing them. I was invited by a friend and it was a wonderful experience. They are so small and so lovely.

I used a 70-200VR lens with a converter to shoot the birds and waiting untill they were looking into the same direction

Weather: cloudy, approx 7.30pm

What a fantastic capture! I love the way they blend in with the fence and the piece of old cloth that is attached to it. A rare find!! #6077504

Thanks guys. I was really lucky and I really enjoyed seeing them. I spotted grown up little owls a couple of months ago in Spain and that was my first 'meeting' with the little owls. Now I am getting to know a bit more about their behavior and places where they stay. It is always a shame that opportunities like these only occur once a year if at all lucky. They will be growing fast en before you know it, they are bigger 'little owls' again! #6077831
