It always amazes me that animals(most, anyway) seem to know that you're helping them, don't hold a grudge, and usually recover faster than we do.

Thank you for your concern! That's really very kind of you. Otter is still alive today!! Should anybody want more detailed information, drop me a line to my e-mail. Since this is a photography site, I don't want to steal bandwidth for this matter. The little fella is in specialist's hands, I was just there to help, because wild animals are always very calm when I am around and it's me who takes them out of their transport kennel and holds them during examinations. Will be back tomorrow!
