This is a great Photo Jim. The only way it could be improved, in my oppinion, would be to pannel it, croping off the reflection of the wing in the water. This would keep the attention of the viewer just on the gentle movement of the bird.

Thanks, guys, glad you liked the shot. The original actually has the whole reflection included, but I just didn't like the way it looked, although having the complete reflection is usually a pretty good thing.
I do like the idea of possibly cloning out the reflected wing, but in the end, I'd decided that I wanted to leave a bit of the reflection in order to show that the Heron was flying close to the water, but Dale's idea would work well, too....maybe even better. #32903

Reflection or no reflection, this is an amazing shot. It really portrays the gracefulness of this bird. I can't decide if I would clone the reflection out or not. Tough call. Nice work.
