Great photo Chuck. My dad had a friend who served in the merchant marines in WWII. He told me all on his ship received $1000 each time they successfully passed through the Rock of Gibraltar. He was also on a raft for 15 days without food and water before being rescued. So little is ever mentioned about the Merchant Marines. Thanks for jogging my memory! #934305
