Description

My edited version of my best shot to date of a gold finch in my back yard. I have at least 10 of these visit on a daily basis but they aren't too keen on letting me take their photo. As soon as I snapped this he disappeared and none have come at all this morning (I waited, trust me). I was particularly pleased with the angle of the sunlight and how dark and blurred the background appears w/out any editing (it's actually a tree).

The original is in my gallery. I'd appreciate any comments regarding the before/after edits. I'm particularly looking at the crop as I struggled with this for quite some time. I'm hoping I chose wisely.... :)

PSCS3 edits: slight levels, shadow/highlight, unsharp mask, and crop
