Amazing shot! I love the DOF on this one! Great pose and nice rack!

The only potential problem I see is that the grass right behind the buck might be a little bit too washed out.

I'm thinking of getting a 20D myself. How do you like it for wildlife photography? Your shots look great! What lens did you use for this one?

Thanks,

Nice light, good select focus. Great not panicking and shaking the camera all over the place. Good breath control.

Might want to crop a little to get the critter out of dead center.

Have fun.

Pam & Bob -- thank you, so much. I didn't do much processing on this yet.. it was the first one off my CF card and I just pumped it out to show my hunting buddy -- it is full frame -- I think I will crop it and spend a little PS time on the grass area.

This buck was awesome! He had 3 buddies but he was more the model type..

Pam, I love the 20d.. I have only taken about 100 shots with it... night and day over my Rebel (which is great too) I had a new lens on this one--- Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS --- LOVE IT!

A great file to try a large print, don't you think Paul?

Great shot.
