Dancing Crab

Just like the character Ann Darrow in "King Kong" who did a song and dance routine in hopes that Kong would not kill her, this crab seems to be doing a ballerina act in hopes this sanderling would not eat it (the sanderling must not have been as amused as King Kong was of Ann). This sanderling flipped the crab and by sheer luck, the shutter caught the crab in the vertical position on its "toes".
