Pretty location and shot Chris. Did you use any filter on it? #188039Darren K. Fisher November 13, 2004
Great looking composition, and lots of green. I would have shot this one with an ISO 100 or lower if possible. That would have given you a lower shutter speed and longer exposure. Did you use a Polarizer? #907236Christopher J. Mcgilvery November 13, 2004
Hi DianeVery Pretty location, very green, very isolated and also I must say a touch of spookyness. Was off side of road, you had to walk-into it, it had two small waterfalls, but don't you like that feeling when you hear nothing.
You have to watch you step, as the land was very uneven and also had alot of tree follage, you had to watch your step. A person with more experience would gain heaps from this area.
For something different, the filter used was watercolor in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Thanks for the pre-advice Darren, helped me good just was not sure on the iso. Did use polarizer like you suggested but I also found that it was too Dark, I can't remember if this shot was with or without polarizer.
But I do remember, that this area was vastly dark. For the waterfalls, mini ones I did as you suggested with Polarizer, but as I stepped back and up it was in very dim-light, alot of tree coverage.
Out of the week I was on Isle of Skye, the light this day was ok.
Thanks for the replies Darren and Diane. #908199
