I like this very much. I'm pretty sure I'd like it more without the tight crop at the top but perhaps there were difficulties in the way of that.

Lovely tones. Well done. #14787

I second Jak, but still it is a great image, Lianne!

Another good one! Lianne, what material are the objects sitting on? Your shots are inspiring me to try indoor photographs :) #28326

I'm kinda in the same place as the others on this one< Liane! I struggle with the incompleteness of having the top lopped off! I love what you're doing and it inspires me to get into still life (which I haven't done yet). I too would like to know what you're using for a base in these photos.

Keep it up, I love your creations! #28355

ok ok I get the point LMBO! and thanks muchly for the comments guys, love your feedback :o)

i'm doin' a reshoot tonight and I think I got it, howsomever, I had another creative moment i'm excited about so ya might havta wait a day or so to see the resubmit of "sunset" heh heh heh ;o)

oh, and the reflective material i'm using is pre-painted white sheet aluminum...or aluminum sheet lol...DH does machining and got some for a project for a friend and when I saw it when we picked it up, I thought hmmmmm and when DH had some left over I thought HMMMMMMMMM!!! so he cut me some pieces but as i'm still missing a size or two he's gettin' me more :o) it scratches rather easy tho and I "polish" it every time I use it because it shows fingerprints big time! lol

WOW...Lianne this is so beautiful!!! Those reflections are gorgeous even on their own.
Lol, I'll trade you tips, mine was cut short so can I borrow yours?:-) Love the surface and was wondering how you didn't get an edge or line at the back of it? #28402
