So utterly and beautifully Victorian. I don't know how you did it, but it looks like selective coloring in spots. In the rest, you captured excellent pastels without underexposing. (I like the slight shadowing of the plate and background)

I couldn't tell if you wanted kc. If you do, the only possible thing I could think of would be maybe to get rid of one item there, and then draw everything else in the picture even closer. Just a thought. #5812590
