Description

A snowshoeing adventure to Dewey Point, due south of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park, led to an amazing vista. On either side of the precipice there lies a 3000ft drop to the valley floor.

Wow, I'm quite taken aback by the flood of positive response from this photo. While I too enjoy the photo, it seems to evoke much stronger emotions in others! When I first reviewed my photos from this trip I thought this image was neat, but nothing special... ho-hum, you might say. But as more people see this photo and as I see their reactions, I can come to no other conclusion than I must have made a huge mistake on judging its appeal and quality. Thank you for allowing me to clearly see another point of view. It has been quite a learning experience for me. #5779204
