Rose & Sax
Uploaded: October 31, 2004
At the end of the final concert of the school year, the seniors give a rose to their parents. This is the rose that our son gave to us last May, along with his saxaphone and the program from that concert. I used the timer setting and a tripod with natural sunlight. ISO200, autofocus.

Steve this is wonderful! a real winner!! love how the light shines on this. #184159Steve Casey November 01, 2004
Thanks for the great comments, Theresa and Bryan. The only editing I did on this one was to crop it a little. The color and contrast etc. are all original. I had taken this same picture the night before and used the flash but, I wasn't really happy with the end result. The next morning (around 6) the sun was just coming up through the window and I thought it would be good to try it with the natural sunlight. I was much happier with the result.#882381
