A great shot with pretty color! I love the DOF you achieved with your 200mm. Nice Job Michael! #896432

Too cool Michael. The spiritual awakening of a spiderwort. Has a morph sound to it. tee hee. #5762365

Thank you for your comments Aimee and Kathy!

Kathy, I don't think this is a spiderwort after looking at images of them. This one has little white tips on the pedals and, though it's hard to see from the DOF and darkness of the BG, the plant's leaves are very different from those images as well. I'll send you a different image via e-mail and see if you can help me identify it. #5765579

Whatever it's called, it's very pretty! I'm terrible with flower names, but I can enjoy their beauty. We're getting ready for a snow storm here next night, a good and wet one, so we'll be getting flowers here pretty soon.
Wonderful capture, Michael, with the dark background! #5765857

Thank you Eivor. I'm like you with flower names (and birds). I need all the help I can get with them. I look forward to seeing what you come up with from Colorado's coming spring! #5769451
