OK...here's another one. This time fully analog. Film 3200, and Maxxum 9 (sorry..description states the picture was taken with the D100 but that is not true).

In Mexico we celebrate death in a few days. Here's my tribute. #183762

Hmmm. Metaphores huh? Black and white, cross, fallen leave. Seems to work, but what are you trying to say with the super fast film?

In any case, nice job.

Hi Bob:

Thanks for your visit.

About the film, I expected someone to comment about it. I’m glad it was you. This was taken two years ago, an October morning, and just a few steps from my front door this leaf was there.

The night before I had the chance to photograph a performance by a Ballet Company from Moscow. One of my cameras was loaded with color film and the other with TMax3200 rated at 6400.

After the performance ended, the camera with BW film still had a lot of frames unexposed. That’s why that morning I used that film.

About this image, I wrote something about life and death and I posted it in my website. Even while I took this image 2 years ago, I just had the chance to get into the dark room last Monday. That’s why I posted it as the picture of the week.

This is the kind of images that I do most of the time. I wander through the city, walking, driving, and I explore for hidden messages. I don’t set up, just walk around and if and object tells me something I try to get a picture.

Thanks again

Always a pleasure discussing images with someone who understands. Or at least has a real thick skin.

Have fun and keep in touch.
