Again, I personally love the "darkness" to this photo. Darker pictures, to me, always seem more elegant/rich/powerful/full etc.

This is an interesting shot, well composed. One can almost feel the breeze.

As an aside, I have always wondered why anyone would have a couch/chair facing away from such a beautiful view; I know that this is common and even perhaps the norm, but I would have the couch turned around and facint the water if it was my place. #877344

I agree about the couch but everything else I like especially the way the moonlight on the water seems to create a stripe above the rail. #2137355

Thank you Robin and Kate.

It was around 5:00 pm qhen I took this picture, so the light that you see comes from the sun. I worked the exposure to get a dark ambience and took advantage of the tinted glass to make the water look that way.

Thanks again.

LOL Protacio!

Thank you for that sanity check!! When I first looked at this photo I thought "ok it's not quite right for moonlight or for sunset ... moon light wouldn't provide a long stripe of light across the horizon ... and while a sunset would have the stripe, it would also have an arched effect across the horizon."

But this week has been so intense I didn't have time to pondor nor ask. Once again receiving without asking would allow me to almost believe ... "all good things come to those who wait." ... but i'm sticking with "a lot of the time good things can come to us while we're breathing on earth ... and they make very nice surprises."

ok ramble-y me signing off

have fun
