Home made reflector test

Uploaded: October 28, 2004

Description

Okay - I wanted a remedy for 'reflector on my own' - so I fashioned this. I cut a hole a wee bit larger than my lens in a piece of core board, slipped it over the lens . This lens was a prime so no problem with zooming but I guess you could gaffa tape it to the zoom ring so it doesn't interfere with the zoom function. Voila - no need for fill flash!! I think next time I will cut the coreboard round instead of square - better catchlights!!

Hi Amanda! Wonderful shot - I love the hair whispering over her face - so natural - just lovely.

I was trying to understand your homemade reflector test "rig"... is this so the flash bounces of your core board that you have slipped over your lens? #183319
