Finalist
I entered this twice in the late summer and fall and when I decided to make March a month of (mostly) resubmissions revisited, friends suggested I try this one again. I noticed jpg artifacts on the previous upload so this time I didn't sharpen nearly as much. I also played around with some effects and decided I liked the lighter background I got with a reduced opacity Virtual Photographer ambience filter (erased from butterfly and top of zinnia he is on). The previous entry is in the discussion.

Excellent re-working of this beauty, Nikki! I didn't notice the jpeg artifacts before, and had to look very closely to see them this time--good job on removing them. I also like the lighter background. As for categorizing, I got 2 finalists on butterfly photos and they were both in D&M so I think you picked the best category. Good luck, my friend! :D #5670680
