Well, not exactly. In the background is Haleakala volcano on Maui (the word means "House of the Sun"). The car is driving on up to an observation center. Canon PowerShot G3.

I also like the unusual perspective in this one. The colours are very nice as well. I love the looks of red soil. That's something I miss from Africa. Denmark "only" has brown soil.

Thanks, Mette. There is beautiful red soil in parts of the Hawaiian Islands. And, of course, there are black sand beaches on the Big Island. Great landscapes abound in Hawaii. #61224
