Beautiful image. Love the lighting in this and the treatment is perfect :D #864958Skyy McKendry February 27, 2008
Thank you so much, Andrea! This is my first foray into architectural photography - photographing a 5.5 million dollar house. I have a lot to learn but I think they're a good start! #5564698Lonnie M. Scott February 28, 2008
This is a real nice series of Architectural shots Skyy. I do a lot of these for the real estate market. I use a 12-24 MM F/2.8 wide angle lense with good success. I try to accent lighting and color tone and not much manipulating in CS3. Lightroom works very well for batch processing. #5566865Karen Slagle February 28, 2008
Wow, Skyy. I am SO impressed with these beautiful images of this fantastic house. If I may, what filters/effects are you using to get these effects? I have always been a fan of your work. Keep up the fine work... #5567221Skyy McKendry February 28, 2008
Thanks Lonnie & Karen! I'm learning to work with HDRI (High Dynamic Range Imaging). The post-produciton in this shot was done with Photomatix. I took 5 photos on a tripod with about 2 stops difference between each shot. I shot from blown-out whites to nearly totally black. Photomatix is so simple! You just upload the photos & click a button & it does all the work. There are adjustment sliders to customize your photo. I'd highly reccomend it for still live & lanscape shots. It won't work with people unless you could get 5 exposures of them standing perfectly still. #5570509paola A. Jofre May 23, 2008
