Well, after two mornings this weekend shooting out on South Beach I decided I needed a little diversion. I had been eyeing this U-Pick field on my way to visit one of my business accounts for a while now as they have a couple of rows of flowers planted along with tomatoes, strawberries, and some other veggies. I grabbed this image as I was walking along the first row of pretty flowers. It was fairly windy so that made getting things in focus a little more challenging but with steady hands, patience, the late afternoon sunlight and some DOF action I think I took an intriguing image. What do YOU think.............

Your patience paid off here Michael! Great exposure.....I love the vivid colors and yes your DOF is fantastic! These kinds of shots are very difficult to pull off, but as usual you did a superb job! Anyone looking to relax should surround themselves with your photography! :-) #5548426

I think the composition works pretty well with the DOF you have. Maybe, but just maybe, if you had had some bigger flowers in focus in the middle, instead of the green stems, it would have been even better. #5549966

Gail, Aimee, Tiia, Eivor and Dawn, Thank you so much for your support. Eivor I know what you mean. I just couldn't find that POV in the field there with what I had to work with. However, by the rule of thirds, the flowers in the lower right quadrant are full and focused thus provide a lead-into the scene as an alternate. But point taken......... good eye :-) #5571790

Great colors. I cannot wait for spring to be back. Great composition. You can see this was thought of.
Good job.
