David, great shot! Did you shoot this Sunday? I decided on a whim to drive up to Rincon, otherwise I would've contacted you...I got real lucky and was able to get some decent shots of Slater on Sunday afternoon...

Thanks Robert. This shot is from this Sunday morning at Rincon and then I came back that afternoon to try and catch a few of Mr. Slater. Kind of a drag that the clouds came in. The action was pretty good, but from my position close to the cove, the light wasn't that great. I got one shot of him facing the camera, but other than that, it didn't have much action or spray. Caught one final air move, but from my angle it also looks kind of funky. I have to tell him if he wants greats shots of him, he has to come for the dawn patrol. But he is probably on his way to Australia for the first ASP contest in 5 days
