Description

First attempt at a basic portrait using an inexpensive homemade studio type lighting setup, with one main light through a nylon fabric diffusion screen, a white panel to reflect some light back onto the darker side of the face, a smaller overhead light to add some highlights to the hair, and black felt fabric taped to the background wall to give a low-key effect.

Thanks. I used a Canon Pro 90 IS with zoom set to about 150mm. Here is the setup in my garage:
