thank you everyone for your comments. Dianna, not at all! I used photomatrix to bring out the tonal ranges in the image and then just boosted the saturation under its main menu. I only used one image in photomatrix.

I then went back in and use the dodge tool in photoshop to bring out the details that photomatrix did not. #5428180
