"Follow Me, Mom"

Uploaded: January 31, 2008

Description

This cocky colt is leading his mother at their Frisian (a Dutch war-horse) ranch near Ellensburg, Washington.
I shot it at 7 AM near the Autumnal Equinox. To stop the motion and get any depth of field, I shot at f7, 1/800 second, with a 100 mm lens and ISO 400. I felt lucky to get their legs in just the same position --- you can see the family resemblance. I cloned out the wire fence behind them.
