Alcatraz

Uploaded: October 04, 2004

Description

This is Alcatraz at sunset taken from the Fisherman's Wharf. I added the moon and the beam of light. The glass is lit up from the reflection of the sunset. I used a 70-300 Promaster lens with a Canon Digital Rebel on a monopod. Critiques welcomed.

Thanks, Donna. I loved looking at your member gallery. I was just vacationing in California and had to see Alcatraz (I live in IN and work in a prison). I tried to make it look like what I had pictured. #822089

Hi Lori
I've been looking for a monopod for the Canon Rebel. Can you tell me which one you have and if you like it? There are so many to choose from, and I needed a little help on choosing the correct one.
My email address is: cchar54@comcast.net

Thanks, Charlene #822135

Thank you Charlene, I got my monopod at Walmart ... nothing fancy and very light weight. I would like to find one that has a hinge at the top so I can take portrait instead of all landscape shots. #822151

AutoFX Mystical Lighting. All of the AutoFX applications are amazing. It wasn't that difficult. #1871243
