Hi Steve,
Of the three, this is my choice. I appreciate macro or closeup more for the detail and added interest it can deliver. Here there is more for the eye to examine, with all the brassy tones and shapes, and the workmanship put into the instrument can be appreciated.
Well composed & excecuted.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. Glad this one works - it's been a work in progress, and a really fun process! #5413110

Steve---The first thing you notice is the detail of the instrument, great macro, but what grabs my eye is the reflection of the music in the instrument...really excellent image here and I agree with all comments above...this is my fave out of all them...

This is a very appealing macro image, Steve. I have never photographed musical instruments. I find your work here inspiring and inspired as well. Your titie, subject and the sheet music in the foreground are well chosen and illustrate your fine eye for detail. Your composition and presentation are superb. The reflection of the sheet music in the brass is the icing on the cake. This is very fine work.
Submit it again. Perhaps in B&W. #5638966
