Thanks! The background isn't so black, you can tell in the bottom right hand hand corner; there was just poor lighting in the room. I had a small desk lamp beside me that was focusing on the flower. I've tried taking pictures of flowers at night, using my flash, but it never seems to workout so I started doing it this way. Thanks for you comment! #820896
