What an unusual photo! I wonder what kind of birds would be nesting there? Road Runners? Neat Photo! Good job and cute title! -Laura Swan #841171WENDI EVANS January 28, 2008
Thank you. It would be a Cactus Wren that lives here. I could not resist taking this shot when I walked upon it. #5409913Laura E. Swan January 28, 2008
My Aunt and Uncle lived in Twenty Nine Palms California for YEARS. We didn't see them often but they told us all about the different cactus when we'd visit. One kind actually has PRICKLES that JUMP RIGHT OUT AT YOU! Imagine! For years I tried to figure out how the plant does this. Still don't know...maybe the spikes are loose and then we walk by on a dry day and the electricity in the air draws it to the person walking by? Static? Anyway, fun shot! Good job! #5410104Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
