Description

BUCKTHORN BERRY Hippophae rhamnoides.

Buckthorn berries are very rich in vitamin C (165 mg/100g). They also contain carotene and vitamins B, F and K.

Buckthorn berries contain lots of malic acid, they have a sour, sharp taste. In the kitchen, these berries are commonly used to make juices mixed with other berries or fruits, and different kinds of puddings and soups, etc
