You're obviously having better luck with your 'Sigma' than I had with mine (50-500mm). I took it back after 4 days, as I couldn't get it to work with the 'D 70' or my '100' at all, and the results were truly disasterous. My new Nikon 80-400 mm works perfectly though, even as a hand-held - Allan #801589

Thank you very much, Charlene, Colleen, Cathy, Colette, Jill, Carolyn, Jan, Allan, Donna, Claudia, Cathy, Rob, Diane, Adilson, Murry, and Joy (another page). Carolyn, trumpet vine is a name given to different species, but the most common one does come in colors ranging from yellow to red. This is a honeysuckle, which also has a range of colors depending on the variety. All are great hummingbird attractors. Allan, Yes the Sigma has been good so far and I use it for macros and micros (sometimes along with Nikon close up lenses); but I usually do need a tripod ... no VR here ;) #801716

WOW!!! This really has a nice 3D and juts out of the screen at you. I always love shots that have a dof that provides a fore, middle & background. For some reason, they always seem to have the tricky "3rd element", that elevates the quality of a picture.
