Description

They are American Avocets thanks to Sarah for identifing them.
They are faster than a dove and can turn on a dime at full speed.
A challenge to capture them for sure.

Try the American Avocet. Their necks are white/grey in winter and cinnamon in the summer.

Neat picture. Love their upturned bills. They look so dignified as they fly by in this great action shot.

Glad you were able to get such a good shot of these fast fliers. They are simply beautiful.

Another shot where patience is your
virtue along with great timing!I've never heard of these birds and don't
know if I've ever seen one. They must
be interesting to watch! Especially at full speed! They look beautiful and you

I son enjoy looking at your images, especially your birds. Another perfectly exposed and composed one. Their beaks are really interesting-quite long and curved too.

How did we meet a great picture?
For the quality of the image, for the rare moment and for the competence in the difficult capture.
Everything exactly is that see here.
Spectacular!
Rare picture and with unquestionable quality.
It is a lot of pleasure to arrive here in BP and to see pictures like this.
Congratulations... And the picture is now one of My Favorite ones.
