Description

Adjustments made in Lightroom to create the illustrated apprearance and some clean up was done in Photoshop.

These buildings are part of historic downtown Sacramento. It's filled with shops, restaurants, museums and these historic buildings.

Well, I think everyone is right and you have a winner here, Teri--if they read your description and don't think you have taken a photo of a painting! You certainly have achieved the illustrated look you were going for and you picked a perfect subject for it. I really like the lines of this composition, too, with the triangular wedges of asphalt, street and sky; the strong diagonals created by the posts and the roof and bottom of the block of buildings; the repeated and receding lines and patterns of the windows and doors.
