John- This is so terrific :) I love the puzzled look on her face. Makes me smile from ear to ear :) It definitely adds some tongue in cheek humor & style! Really wonderful! #823073

Love this photo; funny thing is, I'd been thinking of doing something similar with hot chocolate! I think yours is better than anything I'd come up with so...I'll just bow to you. #5299374

I am glad you both like this shot. It was part of a catalog shoot I did last week. Most of the shots will be simple products clipped from the background, but each page will have a beauty shot of the product in a setting. I used a single large light source here, a light panel, from camera right. I had some reflector fill on the left of the camera. Cloie was very cooperative; we did about 20 shots in this set-up.
Thanks, John Siskin
Ps. It is hot chocolate, coffee was too dark and we had no cream.

Chloe is darling! I love how you caught her with her head cocked and that right ear makes the shot. My Sampson doesn't quite sit at the table but he has been known to put his paws up on the table when we've finished eating! He will also come over to me when I'm on the piano practicing and drape his entire body across the keys and get in my face as if to tell me that he is definitely far more important than any old piano lesson. #5508982

Thanks Debbie,
I love animal shots. I just need to spend more time shooting them. I really like the shot o Dodie reading that is in my gallery!

How did you get Dodie to do that anyhow? That picture just made me laugh! #5512212

Hi Debbie,
Dodie understands that if she does what I want her to do she will get treats. I believe this is called “work for hire.” I have not been able to do this with dogs I don’t know well. I guess they don’t trust me to pay off.
Thanks, John Siskin
