...Blow Me A Kiss

This is my daughter Beckie with her iguana Allison.

I was taking some macro shots of her iguana when Beckie jumped into the shot. I just love the expression on both of their faces, they are loving each other!!! This was captured with a mini tripod, no flash.

Photographed last year on 12-5-06. Cleaned up, adjusted, quadtone, unsharp mask and cropped.

G'day Donna,

What a unique shot! Most unusual subject matter but whether by accident or design it has come up a treat. The expressions are to die for!
The composition is good and strong although I feel it is a little tight around your daughter's eyes.
The lighting/exposure/processing has been handled pretty well although I feel you could tone down the highlights on both their noses a little.
Great use of depth of field and a good sharp selective focus round off this different but very nice informal portrait.
