Happiness is a Warm Bed of Hay

Uploaded: December 11, 2007

Arbuckle, an 800-pound hamhock, relaxing in his bed after a long day of sitting around looking handsome. I had been in his pen for quite a while photographing him when he decided enough's enough and laid down for a quick snooze. The look of contentment on his face was too much for me so I had to get down there on the floor with him and take some more pics. Can't say that I found it as comfortable as he obviously did.
And, yes, he is the same "little" pig featured on my beer label.
