Love the scarlet, the composition and especially the texture here, Teri. I also think you did a great job with that little light. I tried shooting ornaments with lights in the frame and had a lot of trouble--so I just laid mine on a table :)Susan Fox December 10, 2007
Excellent job with the light Teri! You get it just right. Love the composition with the red ribbon (?) swirling from left to right. #5193397Teri Soares December 10, 2007
Hi Susan and Nikki. Thank you both for your encouraging comments. That light was troublesome and I thought of cloning it out, but since I was running out of time...Teri #5193491

This is so beautiful! The smooth texture of the ornaments against the pine needles make for a fantastic contrast! #5193843Teri Soares December 10, 2007

Excellent Ornament shot, Teri! Love the swirl of the ribbon, nice lighting. I need to get busy taking some Christmas shots this years, I'm so behind! #5196123Teri Soares December 11, 2007
Cheryl, I know you'll have some beauties when you get around to it. If I had your garden, I'd probably not be thinking of ornaments either! Have you ever decorated your tree with roses? I'll bet that would be glorious!Teri #5196133

Teri, blue is my favorite color but at Christmas time it is red...the hues of red you've captured here shine the Christmas spirit across the screen!Teri Soares December 12, 2007
Hi Joannie! Thank you for your kind words. Blue is my favorite, too, but like you, I love red during Christmas. I'm glad these turned out well. Sometimes red overwhelms my camera, but this time it got it just right.Teri #5202245
