If you look closely it looks like Ava is a baby vampire because she is cutting her eye teeth before she is getting he top front teeth.
ISO 200 - 1/125 @ f/9.5.
Three light set up, with 1 light with barn doors set to lowest setting (meters around 2.8) and pointing at her from the back. Main light feathered across her from her left meters at 5.3, third light with a white shoot through umbrella metered at around 4 and feathered across her from her right side. Then converted to B&W in PSCS2.

Michelle- you don't make it easy on yourself. Using a high-key setup on a low-key dark background :) The facial tones seem about right but the hat is blown & lacking much detail. That's not always a bad thing, but I think I want a little more detail. I must admit, I've never tried a high-key setup on a dark background, so I really have no frame of reference :( I'll have to try it sometime :) Otherwise, a nice compositional choice & sweet smile :) #5193589Michelle Mondeau December 11, 2007
