Hi Patricia! Is this Slyvac Lake in South Dakota? I traveled there this summer, and when I saw this picture it looks so much like it! What a BEAUTIFUL place! I was mesmorized! #829265

Yes, Debbra, this is indeed Sylvan Lake in South Dakota. We live in Wisconsin, and have made the driving trip out there 3 times. I love Custer State Park and the whole area.

I took a peek at your gallery. Wonderful pic of your dog, who has now crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I have great empathy for you. We have a 16 year old Welsh terrier-blind, deaf, Alzheimer's (canine cognitive disorder), and now her back legs have gone also. I know it is a matter of days, but it indeed is heartbreaking. They are family members.

In peace, Patricia #5334973

Wow - I guess I really messed up the spelling of Sylvan Lake! My friend and I drove from Western New York to the Black Hills, so I could take pictures for a friend's wedding. We made the whole trip out and back in 6 days, so we only had 1 day for sight-seeing, but we got in as much as we could! The whole trip was amazing! I think I took close to 700 picturse!

I am soooo sorry about your dog. It truly is heart breaking, as you are so right about them being a part of the family. I am sure you will treasure the days you still have. Deb #5337504
