Levels and H/S with layers and masking. This is my first attempt at intentional overexposure in the background. Any comments about improvements I could make will be most welcome and appreciated.

Teri, I'd say you nailed the over exposure just right! It lends a beautiful bg for the gorgeous Christmas tree! #5157235Michelle L. Frick December 01, 2007

Joannie, thanks for the vote of confidence in my overexposure experiment! Michelle K. didn't like it, so I'm going to try a different version without the oe. Let me know (if you see both) which you like best! Thanks,

This is a LOVELY Christmas image, Teri...although I think that I, too, would like to see a *little* less overexposure on the background!! Anyway, the colours, details AND clarity in the foreground are BEAUTIFUL, and your composition is SUPERB!! :o) It's hard to believe that December is here already, isn't it?!! ;o) #5158125Teri Soares December 01, 2007
Hi Carolyn, thank you for your thoughtful comments. I am going to try the "less exposure" shot and I'll post it too. I really appreciate the constructive criticism and the encouragement. Thank you again!!!Teri #5158183
