Thanks so much for your comments, Kathy and Michelle. And thanks for visiting my gallery, Kathy!Michelle, the gallinule is a water bird but not a duck. You can't tell here, but it has long "toes" not webbing. I'll try to post another photo here that shows its big yellow feet. #5133953
