purple orchids
Uploaded: November 25, 2007
Image from the American Orchid Society in FL. I shot this image and I think it highlights
the use of Filter > Render > Lighting Effects. I used three lights on
this image with the central orchid supposedly the lightest and the
secondary side orchids less so. Hopefully this draws your eye to the
area of primary focus.

I also should have mentioned that I shot this image and learned much of the process used in completing it at a workshop with Vincent Versace. He has an excellent book out called "Welcome to Oz: A Cinematic Approach to Digital Still Photography" with many of the techniques covered in his workshop.--Rene #5124250Jessica Jenney November 28, 2007
