Since you asked for feedback and critique personally from me Collin and I don't know an easier way than on your gallery...I will start here. The first pic I opened up on your gallery. I like the dynamic angle of the branch it is a good line. I also like the isolation you achieved so the primary focus is the branch and bird. I wonder about one thing why you turned the image to B&W...( you might be right entirely) I just wonder if the color in this might be more attractive? (not sure just wondering) Another thought...you might consider a tight-er crop so the bird would be more significant or center stage. (not necessarily in the middle just more visible. I think she gets a bit lost in the monocromatic image and the little branches. And if you do try and crop it...maybe you might try cropping it with the rule of thirds in mind making the bird of most importance with the rule.
