This was an excellent macro. Proof that nature presents photo-ops when and where you least expect them.

Curious to know how close you were when you snapped this one, and if the flash fired?

Hey Robert,
I was about 24 inches from it maybe a little more or less and yes the flash went off. The bug he was eating was added in photoshop. It was not a real " Dinner " just a real spider walking its web. This spider was HUGE and I almost walked into it...LOL !
