Description

Everyday on my way to work I pass this mailbox...Several times I have thought,,,I need to stop and take a picture of that...But since I am on my way to work...Well you get the picture...: )

Yesterday (Saturday) I got up early and went on an Autumn Safari...And this was the first place I stopped...

As I pass by it in the mornings I always think "If I ever get a picture of that I am going to title it "Rural Route"...As I have said before lots of times as I am taking a picture or when I look at it in the computer I think of the title...: )

Hand held early AM Nov. 10th Southern Illinois country road. 18-70mm lens. Auto setting...I added a touch of contrast to make the rust on the box darker...: )

Hope no one saw you pull up & thought you were in trouble. That's what always happened to me, I'm banned from pulling up on the side of the road now. Aren't these old letter boxes great. Good work=^..^= #5105120

Anyway Thanks Chris...Yes I do have friends who have said they saw me on the side of the road or Hwy and knew I was okay because they saw my camera...And they ususally ask..."What were you taking a picture of???"
