Gardenstown Velvet

Uploaded: November 06, 2007

Description

Back from Glencoe with three other photographers. Good company and our combined enthusiasm shone through making light work of any situation even when the weather refused to cooperate. Gardenstown nestles along the Moray Firth coast towards Fraserburgh and Aberdeen along with it's immediate cousins Crovie and Pennan the little village has houses precariously sited at the base of velvet green grass covered red sandstone cliffs. The gable ends face the sea for they are often lashed by fierce storms.
