Two pics merged into one. One of a blackbird near my house and then one of the pumpkin display at our hometown fair. Snoopy's great pumpkin Patch.

Hey Brenda, glad you came. That bird is a little spooky with those eyes. Nicely done. Dave #773071Patricia A. Stalter October 28, 2007
Good to see you. I am of the opinion that blackbirds are in themselves.. spooky. Saturated for sure!Marta J. Baldwin October 28, 2007
This is really cool Brenda! Love the super-saturated color and great composition. I agree that blackbirds carry the creepy stigma. So sorry to hear about the image you were working on and lost. I know how that feels...It SUCKS!!! #4996511Ellen Powell October 28, 2007
Brenda, This is wonderful!! I agree about blackbirds. One word that was used in the olden days instead of "flock" when it came to crows was "murder": a murder of crows. #4996573Steve M. Harrington October 28, 2007
Wonderfully rich and saturated image, Brenda. Your description of what you lost is terrific. Turn it into a novel. :)Cassie L. Woodlee October 28, 2007
Great colors and work on this wonderful image Brenda!!!! #4996775Dianna Hauf October 28, 2007
Wow....Brenda!!! This is beautiful! I do love the rich saturated colors and the composition in this! Well done and so happy you participated!!! #4996783Crystal L. Craig October 28, 2007
Great submission Brenda! Love how you chose to let the crow lurk in the corner, watching, waiting ... creepy is right and simply perfect for the occasion! #4996861Lisa J. Boulden October 28, 2007
Beautiful saturation, Brenda! Love those lurking eyes...creepy!Elizabeth A. Marker October 28, 2007
Beautifully done Brenda!! Love the glaring eyes and the wonderful colors! #4997285Carol Teal October 28, 2007
A murder of crows, never heard that one, but that sounds spooky! Great ssaturated colors Brenda and oooh, those creepy eyes. I hate blackbirds; some kept coming to my birdfeeder last winter and eating all the food! #4997500Brenda c. McFarland October 29, 2007

Hey Peaches!! I didn't know you were gone for the weekend either. Yes it was silly Saturation Sunday. I was gonna put in a pic of 4 or 5 pics merged into one my snoopy house, the explosion from the bus, my sunset with the tree up close was gonna be the background and I was still gonna use the black bird oh yeah and the head of my daughter with her tounge sticking out. Just as I was finishing it up my program crashed. Gonna learn the hard way to save as I go along! LOL!!! #5002304Colleen Farrell October 29, 2007
