Thanks for you comments Bhavesh. I happen to like border, but get creative once in a while and do something totally different... but should I enter a juried contest, I will definitely not put a border on my pics. #1302

I think that you should understand that this site is not just a photo contest. Critique is a way to learn how to win someday if thats what you are here for. We are here to help. This is a lovely photo but I agree with Bhavesh, loose the border. best regards, donna #1306

I guess I have the unpopular opinion here because I happen to like the border. Because the border is so thin with complimentary colors, it draws your eyes toward the flower and completes the piece. It's a very unique, bold, and beautiful picture. However, I am biased because I add borders to all my pictures. I always like to add a title there. Often times, it also adds a nice finishing touch. #1739
