A circle polarizer should help with that zoo glass. Otherwise, this shot's not bad except for a few hot spots on the frog, and some distracting elements on the left (other out of focus frogs?). #5152901Shawn M. Marymee November 30, 2007
Thank you steve. I have a croped version in my gallery. I had a warming polarizer on. I had to used my flash or it was just way to dark. How do you get some flash but not have it reflect in the glass or have hot spots?? I am very flustrated here. LOL been trying to get these frogs for about a year. #5153053Shawn M. Flash with the glass is a challenge. Is a tripod/monopod allowed at the zoo? I've never seen these frogs move too much, so you might be able to get a longer exposure. The other way is to either try and diffuse the flash or (if you have a flash you can position) using an indirect flash. Are you using the built in flash? I'm not sure if any diffusers are available for the built-in flash, but you could surf the net to see. #5153139Steve Mason November 30, 2007

Shawn, you have plenty of information in your original image. Try using the Shadow/highlight adjustment in Photoshop. I just tried it on a screen shot and it looks pretty good. If you want to see it, I'll upload it here for you.Shawn M. Marymee November 30, 2007

You're very welcome, Shawn. You'll find that the shadow/highlight can make the image look pretty awful at first.
