*long beach oil islands*

Uploaded: August 01, 2004

Description

here in the city of long beach we have several offshore oil drilling islands ,some of which are pretty close to shore. needless to say an oil drilling rig and its related equipment is an eyesore , especially next to a downtown area that has just had billions invested in it's redevelopment. so this was the answer: a beautifully colored facade that surrounds the exterior of the island.

Very nice Thomas. Did you use Flaming Pear's Flood filter on this one too? You did a great job. I was wondering, do you compose your shots specifically to work well with that filter? The Seal Beach pier should couldn't have worked any better. #681592
